I chose headphones for a very long time and rather painfully - I watched and reviewed reviews of the respected Rage on YouTube, compared models on Versus, read reviews (by the way, there were only HyperX Cloud Alpha on the Market for a long time, but there was no S model, thanks for adding). The main competitor was the Logitech Pro X Gaming, which are also quite good. For individual functions, perhaps even better. But on the whole I decided for myself that HXCAS is better. Didn't regret it. I bought them in February 2022 with a very good bonus discount. I had to buy due to the fact that the old inexpensive Qcyber Dragon, which had served faithfully for five years, broke down physically. At first, HXCAS lacked, of course, what I was used to and what I used all the time, namely the volume control on the earphone - and in this sense, by the way, they are inferior to the headset from Logitech. But I transferred the settings to the keyboard and mouse, I got used to it. A little about sound. I am far from considering myself even an amateur in sound, so I will express my amateurish opinion. Music, movies, videos, voice and games sound amazingly good through the bundled sound card. In fact, the sound card makes three independent devices out of the headset: 1. "Normal" sound (7.1 mode on the sound card is disabled) - for music and video; 2. "Game" sound (7.1 mode enabled) - completely changes the sound setting, amplifying high frequencies (steps, ambience) and improving sound positioning; 3. Voice chat headset, the volume of which is controlled separately from the main sound. The complete microphone (removable, on a regular jack, which allows you to change it to any other one) does not have enough stars from the sky, but it is quite normal, everyone can hear me well. Summarizing. For my generally low audio requirements, this headset is the best I've ever owned. Both in terms of sound quality and the feeling of use (materials, weight, comfort, head / ears do not get tired). There are moments related to management, described above, but on a combination of factors - 5 stars out of 5.
