Review on Atrend 10G 10 Inch Universal Subwoofer by Jared Peck

Good solid construction, stylish looks and comes with mounting hardware. For that I give it a few stars. Unfortunately, it leaves too little free space, which makes it unsuitable for powerful subwoofers. I measured only 1/4" from the surround sound of my subwoofer and only 3/8" from the cone of my top Sundown SA-10. . My subwoofer has an x-max of over 5/8 inches, so setting it "as is" might be a hit. Rather than struggle with trying to find another one as most of them don't provide exact measurements, I just went to my warehouse and paid $3 for a set of clear rubber feet to use as spacers. This raised the base of the grill to about the level of the top of my subframe, making it look nice and giving me an extra 1/2 inch of clearance. If you are in the mood to buy this grill, or have already bought it, I recommend this course of action.
