I wanted a new mp3 player and didn't want to spend a lot. The Walkman seemed like the best choice given its price. The player itself is the same as the iPod but much simpler, I chose it over the iPod because it's cheaper and easier to put music on it. It's a very good MP3 player with easily accessible settings. The playback quality is also good. The only complaint I have is that the player never turns off and pressing any button at any time brings the screen back. It's not a big problem and you get used to it after about the first day of use. Conclusion: If you need a new MP3 player that doesn't take up more than 4 gigabytes and you're looking for something (relatively) cheap and very useful, go for it.
