If you are looking for miracles, this antenna will not deliver. No antenna can! I use this for my Spypoint Cell link and it has improved the signal but not by much. The signal has grown from 25% to 50% and that's enough for me, but it's not constant. Weather affects its performance, sometimes dropping it by as much as 25%. Installation was easy, just screw it to a tree. You need to know where the cell tower is before you install it so you don't interfere with your signal (IE creates a radio shadow toward the cell tower, reducing its performance). In other words, install it facing the tower. If you don't have call service, it won't work because there is no service. There are no active electronics inside, and even the low-loss coax model has thin coax that can attenuate the signal to some degree. This worked for me.
