The timer is easy to use. When you press the top right button, each little tick corresponds to the number of minutes you want the timer to be, and it will beep until you press the button again. This is a very small watch, suitable for a child or a very petite woman. I love how flat they are, they are good for my specialty class I teach because they don't get in the way. Instructions are not included, but setting the time is relatively easy. I still haven't figured out how to set the date and day, but it doesn't matter since you can't see it on the home screen. Only the size is smaller, it has no light to see the time in the dark.
