I like it when I type. I'm used to it. I don't like those quiet keyboards, you don't know if you actually pressed a key or not. My job is intensive typing and I need to finish quickly. If the keys are too tight I have to press hard at the same time to get that tone and it strains my hand. I tried these wired keyboards from DELL and HP. All are not up to par. Even the expensive Logitech is too bland. After a long search I found this. It does the job very well. Here's my summary of what's good about it: 1. If you hit it a little hard, like I did, it makes a noise (not loud, just a reasonable click). If you are the soft type, it makes no sound.2. The buttons are not fixed. So the hands are not strained.3. The shape of the mouse and the ergonomics suit me quite well. Too big or too small, both are bad. I'd say medium sized hands, it's well made for that. You don't need round or really weird shapes. Both are useless after a while.4. Comes with batteries and a small USB stick as usual. Just plug in and get started. That's not new. Every manufacturer does this.5. Very attractive price for the keyboard+mouse set. I have bought several (4-5) so far. Paid from $22-$28. The one that comes with the mouse pad is actually $22 cheaper but not happy with the keyboard even though they all look the same. So far no connection problems. Keystrokes are perfectly represented on the computer. No Missing Strokes.7. Attractive white, similar to Apple. White with a gray accent looks so good.8. Doesn't drain my batteries at all. I think it's intelligent power management.9. Works great with MAC and Windows. Nothing special is needed. Just plug and play and it works across platforms. What could be better: Backlit keys. That makes it so easy in low light conditions. Maybe the next model.
