It seems to be a flat air purifier that does its job well. Although I haven't tested it, I can't say how effective it is. But you're buying a HEPA machine, so this should give you an idea of how effective it is. It's a bit noisy on high, but if you like white noise at night, this will suit you. The noise is medium nearby, and Sleep is almost silent. The timer is useful when you only want to run 1/4/8 hours. The filter is easy to replace. My only quirk: high, low, and sleep modes; You control the fan speed and the night light. High and Low turn on the night light by default, Sleep mode turns the night light off by default. Instead of modes, it should just be fan speed in my opinion. High medium low. We can switch the night light ourselves. Power consumption was 6/10/29 depending on mode. The night light consumes just over 1 watt. A rough estimate of the cost for continuous operation: 1 watt = $1 per year.
