Carry for crazy people out of straws
It's not common but seems to be becoming more common, some places say they don't offer straws. Some people have a medical need to drink through a straw, or they just prefer to drink through a straw. I bought them and I always carry them in my purse, so when I think we're out of straws, I open my purse, pull out a straw, and put it in my glass. I don't like drinking from a glass in a restaurant or someone has a mouth, I don't care how they say they're washed, I want a straw.
