The product is made of plastic. Works well on kids! However, the creation of the product was terrible. There are almost no holes, meaning you'll have to create most of them, and the holes that are present had to be personally modified to be larger in order to fit. I gave 4 stars because it was a great product and unique design. Ford. MOST IMPORTANTLY we got a replacement as the first item had 2 left hand doors. Otherwise building the product on BOTH ends was awful. Finish: only buy if you feel comfortable changing the holes and adding them with some flakes in other areas as once assembled the child will love the end result :)
