Bought this handle to replace the old handle that was on the screen door when I moved in. It's so worn that sometimes pressing the button doesn't work. unlock the door. This one was meant to be versatile, that was its advantage, and I liked the tulip grip. Then I understood. Apparently, either my old bar was an anomaly, or this thing isn't as versatile as they claim. I had to drill new holes. After that the installation was successful. It's been hanging on the door for about six weeks now and I noticed today that it's a bit dangling. I grabbed a screwdriver to tighten it but found that the top screw had been sheared off. So they lived less than two months.
