My 9-year-old daughter often complained that she was cold on the way to school and preferred leggings. We have had many "warmer" GAP leggings but they weren't warm enough. She is about 60 pounds and 52 inches tall. She fits well in size M Irelia, there is room to grow. They keep them really warm and I have ordered 4 more pairs. Now she wears them almost every day and I never hear about her being cold again!
