Review on πŸ”Š Nobsound NS-10G PRO 100W Bluetooth 5.0 Power Amplifier - Hi-Fi 2.0 Channel Stereo Audio Amp for Wireless Home Speakers (Silver) by Jeremiah Whiteley

Good value for money. Two annoying flaws

I just received this amp and tested it on a pair of EPOS M5 speakers and my iPhone using Bluetooth as the sound source. Plugging and pairing was easy, and the sound is musical and pleasing. I bought a model without volume and tone controls because I wanted to hear the sound as close as possible to playback and bypass all unnecessary circuitry. I think it's good for a device in this price range. The downsides are twofold in my opinion. The volume control via the phone starts very loud at the first level when the volume is switched off. on an iPhone. This appears to be a design flaw in the input level calibration for the output volume. Pairing with a second phone, which is a typical use case, requires the first paired device to be disconnected first (either that way or by disabling Bluetooth to make the amp think nothing else is connected). Given that the device claims to support Bluetooth 5.0, that seems like a practical inconvenience that should have been avoided. I'm planning to use it on a small boat with a pair of full range speakers from the JVC ux-2000 series that I bought. used for less than 40 dollars :-) Because the prices are on the same level. I will unsubscribe if there is a significant difference in sound quality from what I reported above. Many Thanks
