Read the positive and negative reviews and decided to give it a try as the price per lot was low. Our Roomba 890 cleans around 600 square meters. Feet (80%) made of hardwood and the rest made of fine fiber mats. Our original iRobot side brush lasted 7 months with 3-4 cleaning cycles per week. (We have a very fluffy cat.) In fact, I only threw it away because Roomba was dealing with the after-effects of our dog's illness. The attached photo shows the I clean side brush after two cleanings. One of the brushes just fell out almost entirely, and the other fell apart. I recommend buying them but only if you like throwing money away. The price per quantity per application is very expensive. Update: A month later the second brush is holding up. Let's see if it works half as fast as the original side brush. We'll check back in a few months. Update: Many months later. It's safe to say they wear out much quicker than OEM. Best case scenario would be to see one of the last two months with 3-4 cleanings per week of our 1200m2. feet
