Such a pleasant surprise. A folding chair that is actually very comfortable! It is lightweight and folds to fit in a backpack. We actually have two of these chairs and use a regular backpack to carry them around. The legs are made from high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and have internal elastic cords for easy assembly and disassembly. It's advertised as weighing 2 pounds, but on my scale it weighed 3.5 pounds. Still light enough to take with you on a hike. It is very amazing that it can hold up to 300 pounds. When folded, it is just over 14 inches long. It fits perfectly in our hiking backpack. The perfect chair for our hikes. It takes some time to set up as you stretch the canvas over the frame pockets. We are afraid that the bags will tear over time, but the sewing machine will not be able to fix anything. Great chair, very comfortable. I'm 4'11" and was comfortable.
