Less than a year of use and it died.

Edited review: You can still apply the end of this review but after a year of use this keyboard let me down. The keys no longer work and some type two letters. Still, maybe not a bad buy, but if you expect it to last a long time, I would skip it. For some reason I wasn't expecting it to have a brushed stainless steel finish on top, but it's by no means a deal killer. The keys are a bit smaller than I would like, but they are sufficient for touch typing. The key action is worthy. The Control, Function, Windows, and Alt keys aren't well-placed, but I find it easy enough to toggle them. I've been using an Apple keyboard for a long time, so I never use Control for keybinds, but it's a Linux system, so it's easy to switch to L-Alt. I would have preferred a larger key and omitted the function keys on either side, but the alt keys are larger than the other two. Again sufficient, but not perfect. I wish it had a function lock instead of using a keyboard shortcut. I use them a lot more as media keys than as function keys. My biggest complaint is that the keyboard doesn't sit flat on my desk. It has an upward curve on the front (room side) and bounces when I tap it. It could be stainless steel. I do not know. It's annoying, but I can deal with it. It's nice and low in relation to the table, otherwise just how I like it and doesn't look overtly badly constructed. All in all, I wouldn't buy it if I tried it in a store, but none of its annoyances are so great that I could bother returning it. That works fine. The USB ports work and it prints fairly well. I still like my (worn old) chicken Mac keyboard better, but it works for a significantly lower price.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Has quirks
