I've never given my cats much thought when it comes to food. I saw an ad that listed ingredients from a well-known brand. I decided to test the ingredients in what I was feeding my cats. Not good. I felt terrible feeding her this stuff. I can't afford $40 organic ground beef for a 3 pound bag. I was thrilled when I found Purina Naturals. The price may seem high, but if you see your cat only eats about half of it, you'll be glad you bought it. My wettest and driest. The same with wet. They got a 5 ounce can every morning. Now I divide 3 ounces between two people and they are perfectly satisfied. Giving them more natural foods, even if they cost more, will reduce their consumption and probably match the cheaper products. Not to mention the vet bills as they get older from eating that cheap food. I have no idea about the health benefits, but it should be good.
