My CPU fan died about 2 weeks ago so I decided to buy a replacement. I took my laptop (GS63vr Stealth) to my local bestseller store (where I originally bought the laptop) and the Geeksquad team installed these new ones. Don't get me wrong, they work but are a lot worse than the originals. They don't run as fast as the originals and my laptop has had much higher temperatures and frame drops since I installed these fans. Even if I go to the middle of the kite and push the fans to maximum speed, I can barely get past 3000 rpm when the originals went to twice that speed. The spec also says the fans come with thermal paste, but I have the fans in a crappy plastic shroud with no thermal paste. Too bad my almost 2 year old laptop isn't working as well as it used to just because of those crappy fans listed and MSI won't even provide a link to buy original replacement fans. Overall unprofessional experience.
