Review on 📷 Amcrest ProHD 1080P WiFi Camera 2MP (1920TVL) Indoor Pan/Tilt Security Wireless IP Camera IP2M-841B - Black by Mike Castro

These cameras have been working for me for about 8 months now. When I first got them they were very easy to set up with the Amcrest Pro app right out of the box. We then unplugged our wireless router and figuring out how to turn it back on was a nightmare. It turns out that we had to reset the camera using a small indicator, which is actually a button on the back, by holding it down for about 20 seconds. I also had to connect with an ethernet cable. Then they installed a router extension and AGAIN they couldn't understand what was wrong with them. Turns out the tech support is VERY helpful. So just give them a call at the first sign of a problem and save yourself a few hours. They will set them up for you online. The amcrest pro app is pretty good, but the amcrest cloud app is not. Records are skipped and are not contiguous. 30 second episodes and if something goes wrong you can skip the actual plot and just watch your baby cry on the floor. it happened to me That being said I use 4 cameras as a babysitter, two of which are recorded with a cloud app and they mostly get the job done and I'm mostly happy. Are they AMAZING and the best 5 stars ever? no But I have them and they work.
