I bought these to prepare for a hiking vacation where temps were anticipated to be way higher than normal. My family and I are NOT heat-tolerant, and I get migraines in the heat. These towels were a lifesaver! They work as advertised: You get them wet, wring them out, shake them a bit and put them on around your neck. When they stop feeling cool you take them off, shake them briefly, and they feel cool again. Repeat until they finally dry out and you have to re-wet them. I wore mine around my neck and my daughter ended up wearing hers like a headscarf, protecting her from the sun while also cooling her head. The solitary reason I was able to do arduous hiking in the heat without getting a migraine was the fact that I wore this towel. I have recommended these to everyone since our trip!
