Review on iHealth PT3 No-Touch Forehead Thermometer: Digital Infrared Touchless Thermometer with Ultra-Sensitive Sensors for Adults, Kids, and Babies. by Ada Plech ᠌

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

There are nuances that you need to know and which can be attributed to obvious shortcomings. In fact, this is a feature of our body, since on the surface of the skin on the wrist, on the forehead and in other open places, it can be completely different than when measured with a standard mercury thermometer. I specifically checked the temperature in different places on the face, everywhere it was different and could reach a difference of half a degree. But if the temperature is elevated, then the thermometer shows it. Perhaps not exactly, but it is clear that it is. Then you can check it with a mercury thermometer. Although when I used it on a sick person, he showed 38.5 immediately and 37.5 also showed immediately. I checked it with mercury sweat, there were no more doubts about it after such comparisons. I also take more than one measurement, but I can check the temperature several times three times in one place. Place it only correctly above the place where the temperature is being checked. You can check on different places of the body, forehead, temples, neck, wrist. By the way, it is fascinating to see when the temperature is different everywhere. I recommend the product, once again I emphasize learn only how to use it correctly.

Pros
  • No need to shake, no need to wait about 10 minutes for accurate temperature measurement. Just a couple of seconds and the result is visible.
Cons
  • I did not find any shortcomings for a non-contact thermometer.
