My 4 year old daughter is a little taller than most and they are a little longer for her. But they go great with shoes (you don't want her feet showing when you need them warm, do you?) and I only roll the cuffs up once when she's walking barefoot around the house. Warmth question... - yes, they are warmer than regular stretch pants. No, they are not hot either. Ideal! She wore a pair at home all Saturday and planned to wear another pair on Sunday. She doesn't usually suffer from the cold as much as my son (she looks like her dad who plays hockey lol) and she's the first person to feel comfortable walking around in her underwear on a cold day, so I would say no, they are not too hot. I wouldn't wear them outside in summer but they are great the rest of the year! We live in Virginia where the winters are fresh (not dry). She wears a uniform to school and wears it under a sweater. I LOVE HER. Someone mentioned that the seam is stiff - I did not find that, and I looked, even after washing several times. They seem to be holding up well to their active lifestyles and we've washed three pairs at least 3 times, although I'm sure the striped pair has been washed at least 6 times :) The seat is large and the leg is long. I think this is better suited for winter though - nothing too low on the waist or exposed ankles in the colder months. Excellent purchase! I know there has been some confusion as to how many per set - I think you can get different amounts. The one I bought is as described, with three pairs of pants and a sequined cat ear headband - she loves to play with it but doesn't wear headbands (has nothing to do with the quality of this one, it's kinda normal) . So that's a set of four, but only three pants and a headband, hopefully that clears things up.
