This portable antenna is perfect for my boat. I replaced a bad JVC radio/cd player on my boat and instead of messing around with an old antenna I'm going to use this one. I tested it on the bench with a new radio (Pyle) and it played FM stations with no hiss, even some AM stations, although I'm far from it. It's beautifully made, durable and, as a bonus, inexpensive. Installation can be tricky, but I found a way to attach it to the boat rail. Can't wait to install it with the new radio. If you need an antenna for your boat, look no further.
