doesn't hold charge

I'm returning mine. I've been trying to find a third party controller that can handle six axes. I thought it was perfect. I charged it for 10 hours as advertised but it never held a charge. I plug it in and it immediately says it's fully charged, but works fine. I turn it off and it dies instantly.
