Looks nice but the seams are poorly sewn

My son bought this backpack at the beginning of the school year. He turned out to be very persistent. He used one for "A" days and a different backpack for "B" days, so he actually used that every other day. Within the first 4-5 months it started bursting at the seams! Haven't wanted to buy another one so far this year so I've tried stitching the area up. These areas later survived, but holes continued to pop up every few weeks! We finally gave up and bought another pack about 6-7 months into the school year.
