I bought FOUR of these cages for all four of my kids. I gave each of them a hamster to surprise them on Christmas morning. I have to keep her in my room until Christmas and take care of her myself in peace. I installed all the water droppers for each cage. First I noticed that the water drained off pretty quickly. I thought maybe they had too much water in them. I emptied them at least half and they stopped for a moment. On the other hand, these water droppers have a square shape. The rod holding them in place is for this container only. So I can't use any other type of container unless it's square (I've only seen round water droppers). The next morning I checked their cages and ALL the bedding in ALL FOUR CAGES was soaked. I was so angry. How can I get them back? I had to buy new water droppers and try to attach them to their cages. No leaks so far. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand. I could understand if only one leaked, but four is ridiculous. Finally, the caps on the ends of the cages (one on each side) are EASY to unscrew. I wouldn't be surprised if the hamster does this often enough that he can get out on his own. There is no way to lock it to prevent this. I'm just trying to figure out a way to keep it sealed. I'm not trying to be "Karen" but nobody needs that stress before Christmas.
