Review on MICHELIN X-Ice 3 195/65 R15 95T winter by Felicja Chmielewska ᠌

Size 215\60 R16 99H XL, made in Spain. Balanced normally, there are no beats and vibrations on the go. So far, there are no complaints about the quality of workmanship either. The rubber is slightly softer on bumps and significantly quieter than the summer Dunlop LM703 and winter GoodYear UG500. So far, the temperature has not dropped below -3, but some conclusions can already be drawn. On asphalt, it slows down a little worse than the summer and "old" (2 seasons) Goodyear. At the same time, handling and stability on asphalt, even with shallow ruts and bumps, are better. I also had a chance to test tires outside the city on shallow rolled snow. Everything here is just wonderful. And braking, and handling, and stability. On polished ice, it slows down noticeably worse than the studded Goodyear, but it keeps the straight line and turns well, it reacts softly, predictably to steering turns. Accelerates subjectively better than Goodyear (I managed to climb a rather steep icy hill calmly in 1st gear without slipping). There are no snowdrifts yet, but I hope the cross-country ability will be no worse than it was on the previous car, shod in Michelin X-Ice North 2 (rowed like a tractor). At urban speeds on wet asphalt, it rides normally, with no complaints about braking and handling. Compared to other tires previously used on other machines, I can say that I like this rubber more than Gislaved NF5, Nokian HKPL2, Barum NordPolaris and Michelin X-Ice North 2. I can recommend this rubber to people who care about comfort, safety on winter road, but which rarely go on smooth polished ice.
