I bought this to use with an old office computer that didn't have built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or space to install an internal adapter. It works very well for this use case. Please note that the reach of this article is not surprising. If you have a weak Wi-Fi signal at your intended use location with other devices, you may not have any signal at all with this thing, or the signal may be borderline and intermittent. If you have a good strong signal, you shouldn't expect any problems. I didn't even notice the speed limit. I've also used Bluetooth frequently for game controllers. That also worked without any problems. Responsiveness was comparable to other Bluetooth receivers I've used. There is nothing to complain about, the range is quite suitable for that. The only other downside I can think of, aside from the slightly weaker WiFi reception, is that it sticks out more than some of the other dongles. All in all, if you need both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and your Wi-Fi signal is good where you intend to use it, I see no reason not to use this little guy. Saves you a USB port and some money if you have to order two of these and makes things easier.
