I chose this chair over a stationary chair for two reasons: (1) it looks way cooler and (2) I liked the idea of toning the core muscles swing / activate. I saw some reviews saying they were too short for this chair but figured I'd be fine as I'm 5ft 7in. However, I find that there is too much space between the seat bottom and the knee pads - this forces you to sit further forward in the seat, which puts too much strain on your shins. The knee pads are nice and thick, but not enough to prevent discomfort for an hour. One reviewer said they put an extra foam wedge between their knees and their chair and now I see how helpful that would be. Despite this, the chair was very easy to assemble and looks just like the picture. That's what I'm sitting on now as I write this review. It still helps my posture a lot and when my shins start to hurt I just put my feet on the floor. Art) if I could choose again. Update: An hour after I wrote the previous review, I lowered my rating from 3 to 2 stars. This is just an uncomfortable calf brace.
