I have already tried 5 different socket covers. (Lectralock, Safety First, Kidco, Wappa Baby and this Dreambaby). If I only had decorative rosettes (rectangular instead of two ovals) I would only use these. But I would recommend not using them for standard outlets. Cons ✫ When used on standard sockets (two oval and one center threaded hole) they can be potentially dangerous as they can be pushed far enough away from the wall to expose electrical pins (something my 18 month old was able to do) . If my son decided to touch the pins (which I'm sure I could reach with his little fingers) it would be a very bad situation. ✫ They are difficult to remove even for an adult (both plus and minus). ✫ They won't fit large block forks (Lectralock and Wappa Baby will do).✫ The plastic used is significantly thinner and more flexible than any others I've tried. secure installation. ✫ The most accessible of anything I've seen. ✫ It is also the most difficult to remove, which is a plus for child safety. brand can not.
