Long enough but other notable flaws that ruined this

It's hard to find sleeping bags long enough for my 3 year old twins (they are already wearing 5T clothes!). I thought I hit the jackpot when I found them. Some other reviews mentioned that they were very long, which won me over. Also, the price was amazing (sleeping bags can cost $$$)! First I want to say that they are quite long, so that's a plus. Unfortunately, a few other flaws killed them for me. One of the advertised features is the ability to make these bags shorter or longer depending on your child's size. To do this, fold the bottom of the bag back and attach it to itself with Velcro. It may be fine for younger children, but once the Velcro is undone to make it longer, the super spiked Velcro strips just stay attached and open for all. The number of times these velcro straps have scratched my legs like hell while one of my kids was sitting/pushing against my knees is too many times to count. If you don't forget to fasten the Velcro when washing, it will also get caught on other clothes, which may cause other clothes to be pulled and torn. Also, the sleeping bag zipper is very large/bulky and the piece of fabric that connects it to the rest of the sleeping bag warps/wrinkles after the first wash. This makes the zippers a pain in the back. I think you get what you pay for. In the future I will put up with it and pay more to get something better.

Pros

Cons
  • Expensive insurance
