Review on ST656 G160H by Adam uciuk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

In my opinion, the thin fastenings of the handles to the body of the snow thrower, no matter how they broke later. A filter is inserted into the gas tank from above, which scrolls when the gas tank cap is screwed in, and you must first aim so that the cap connectors fall into both the filter grooves and the gas tank grooves, and then just screw it on. The absence of a flashlight is not a problem - even at night on white snow everything is perfectly visible. When set to 5th speed at the gas, he already bounces. I have a section with a lift - it climbs up without any problems and clears everything. In the photo below, snow removal with a small coverage of the site as of December 08, 2022 - grass is visible despite the fact that the bucket skis are set to the maximum. It is inconvenient to rearrange the skis, so, around the house, I cleaned the blind area and paths with a shovel in order to clean it to the brick. It was possible not to do so, I just wanted to be prettier. The chute throws snow a very long distance if desired, it is adjusted quickly and conveniently. The snow thrower itself is heavy, but it is not felt during operation, only if you move it without the engine running. On the 5th snow removal, the knife drive belt flew . The knives are really sharp - I didn’t notice the rug in front of the porch in the snow - he chewed it into the trash, since I stopped it until the rest of the rug fell into the ejection chute. Thanks to the size of the bucket, it is possible to clean narrow places around the house with jewelry, while the width of the bucket is optimal and suitable for cleaning the space on the site.

Pros
  • As they say on the forums, a reliable internal combustion engine. I liked the build quality. Relatively compact. 2 speeds back and 5 forward.
Cons
  • Heavy. There is no center differential. Thin handle attachments to the snow thrower.
