Review on Planet Wise Hanging Wet Monkey by Barbara Zepeda

When I first used this product, it didn't smell like cloth diapers. Here's why: I got the diapers from a friend who used them for two years and then kept them for several months until I needed them. This leads to smelly diapers after the baby soils them. I had to take them off. After my diapers were sanitized and I used the bag a second time IT WAS SMELL! The website states that it has MOST of the smells. I assume it doesn't contain REALLY bad smelling diapers that a baby can't stink. It didn't work due to user error. After I fixed it, the smell was gone. Washing myself in this second round, I definitely smelled the odors this bag contained when it was thrown in the washing machine. I wash every other day, so I don't leave the diapers in for long either, which can help minimize the smell. The handles are not heavy and neither is the zipper. I read in a review that the bag is starting to tear at the handle so as soon as it gets heavy I put it on the floor next to the changing table and it stands up great. I also don't mind opening it with both hands. I'll change the baby and put the diaper away. Then take the kid to a safe place so I can clean up. I open my bag, put the tissues in, put the diaper in and zip it up again. For me it was no problem. I gave 5 runs because I don't see how the grips can be improved so they don't strain when filling. I suspect it's just the hanging feature. I agree the zip could have been bigger but that didn't stop me from ordering a second bag! Now I have two so I can let one air dry. I don't want to tumble dry for fear it won't last as long. POOL can be sensitive! I highly recommend this cloth diaper bag! I also bought a medium sized diaper bag. I'm so glad I have something cute to store stinky messes!
