First of all, this is a very good design. But I give the quality control two thumbs down, so basically it works like the pivot system, the pivot system has two metal pins that are about a quarter inch long, one of the holes was drilled too deep for the pin, so when tightened, it pops out and therefore doesn't let it bite as it should. So I loosened one of the screws, pulled out the pin, inserted a small piece of paper in the hole so the pig couldn't speak the words, and everything worked fine. I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and it's a bit heavy compared to other tablets. He holds it very well but if I have a hard hit it will cut through a little but it hasn't fallen yet. I also drive a tractor and trailer so a regular car might not be that bad on bumps.
