Well, I read a bunch of reviews and comments before I bought it and the main thing was that the hinges on this thing are tight. Just let me talk about it, it's true. The joints are really tight. Mine is attached nicely and securely to the post so I'm not afraid to pry it out of the wall, but if I just had to mount it in drywall I would definitely be concerned. The only issue I have is the clip that just holds the iPad "well". It's thin plastic and the adjustable part consists of two free-moving sliders that lock into place by tightening a friction nut (a knob maybe?). They sure seem to tighten, but no matter how hard I try to clamp my iPad, I always feel like it might come loose; especially when trying to move my joints out of grip solely on my iPad. Cons at a Glance Extremely stiff hinges Not the best iPad/tablet clip, especially given the stiff hinges. SOLUTION Allen key + key for joints. From 1/8 turn to 1/4 turn, they are comfortable and easy to use. If you don't have a set of screwdrivers, just stick a flat head in the space between the nut and the connector body. There is almost no space, so the flat head can create enough friction to loosen the 2 main links. The smallest connection (closest to the iPad clamp) will likely require a wrench to move horizontally. More space, less friction due to the flat head. And in case anyone messes around, the joints are covered with plastic plugs. Pry them off with your fingernail. 1 minute fix and it's amazing.
