Serves important security purposes AND remains functional = Gain

UPDATE: Star removed due to build quality. Electrical contacts are stuck inside the device and when trying to fix the wires, they broke. I would have to solder to fix it. This is a great security concept. After recalls like Ford's recent exhaust recall, it makes sense to install carbon monoxide sensors on vehicles. One problem with such a device is testing - you really don't want to intentionally generate CO to test this device! I was in a situation recently where I could adequately test it, so here's a review. Pros: Product works. We accidentally tested this while sitting in traffic with the windows down, and the CO level rose just enough to trigger the alarm. Turning on the fans and driving the car turned off the alarm. The power connections also work well, so the device is always ready to use, and we don't regret having chosen the 12V connection for this purpose Cons: The flashing blue light on start-up is very annoying at night. This would be a big improvement if this could be dimmed.
