There is such a holder in every car. I can't understand why anyone would use anything else to keep their GPS. The non-slip bottom really stays in place. Also, the base is flexible so you can adjust it to fit your car's dashboard. Really great product. I read a review that said it slides all over the place. That person probably didn't remove the protective plastic from the bottom of the base. When I bought the last one I didn't notice the plastic and in fact without removing it it slides everywhere. Peel off the plastic and it stays in place as if attached.
