Bought as a gift for my mum - she likes to wear the watch in the garden too and not the sporty look of the watch. She has a jewelry watch to run, but she was worried that wearing it around the house every day would wear it out. This Casio was a good compromise - not too expensive, seems solid enough, had the right "look" and was a clip-on strap type, easy to read. I noticed that they don't have a lot of "weight" - they're light, unlike more expensive watches, but as long as the strap, glass and battery can hold up to everyday use, it's good. One note: the strap has limited adjustment - it doesn't appear to have any removable links, just an adjustable pin in the clasp. I made it as small as possible and it still fits fairly loosely on her normal sized wrist. If you have a very small wrist and small hands, it may be too big.
