So far so good in stand mixers

I can't tell you how much time I've spent looking at stand mixers under $100. Read, study and compare. Costway, Hamilton Beach, Farberware, numerous Chinese made brands (all good sellers based on reviews). I have a KitchenAid that I have never taken out of the box because I have a small kitchen (apartment) and will be using it when I move into the house. As I am very fond of cooking and baking, I was tired of using my hand mixer but had little storage space. First, the best thing about this blender (for me) is how EASY it is and not bulky. Super easy to grab and store (unlike the KitchenAid beast).2. I like the depth of the tank and I need at least 6 liters. Of all other brands found to be of higher quality, the quart size was no more than 4! Too small for me.3. The engine was more powerful than most (300 vs. 600).4. More compact design and beautiful appearance.5. Anti-splash and planetary blend were another benefit.6. Only $70 off! I know these appliances may or may not be a hit, especially when you know the quality doesn't compare to Cuisinart or KitchenAid, but to be honest I just wanted a lightweight stand mixer that, considering the price and price point can perform the best quality. it does just that. I took a risk. Will it break for me? Maybe, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. This mixer did a really good job with all the ingredients for my cookie dough. I didn't have to use a spatula to help with this. Setting the speed to 1 and 2 is a bit slower, but I really like it. 2 managed to mix everything well. I really have no complaints about its performance so far. Looking forward to trying the pizza dough and beating eggs and cream at higher speeds. My biggest complaint is the Teflon-coated spatula and dough hook. Fur. I have a feeling it will start peeling off any day. I am very careful not to put them in the dishwasher or use abrasive cleaners to clean them. The shell could have been thicker steel. Too skinny and flimsy, but it's only $70, right? As long as it doesn't bend, I'm fine haha. The fender doesn't quite fit the bowl (maybe I attached it wrong), but I won't sleep because of it. Generally so far so good. I love my blender and am happy with the price I paid. It's nice not having to mix it yourself. I just hope it lasts a few years ;)

Pros

Cons
