The gear of gears!

These gears are impressive! You won't find a larger bevel or helix in any gear matching this pair. The way the gears work together to transmit rotational power from one axle to the other is amazing. I'm not sure I'd even put them in a Makita drill - it would be a shame to power the Mona Lisa of gears. or would it be a shame NOT to let these mechanisms do what they were designed to do?
