When researching electronic darts on the web the Viper 777 made all the lists (I think) as the best budget board. However, I almost didn't buy it because of all the stars here. Then I read them. Wow. First. Bounces are negligible IF you ditch the cheap, crappy, overly light starter darts that come with the board and buy better tips. Both are inexpensive. You're going to need tips anyway, and you'll eventually outgrow the "starter darts" that come with the board, so do some homework, spend a few extra bucks, and get it now. I bought two sets of three 16g darts. Five dollar darts for everyone here and a set of 50 tips recommended by another reviewer. I also practiced how to properly throw a dart. Bounces now only occur on rare occasions when a dart hits a spider, which is about as common as it is on a traditional dartboard - even rarer. Also, nowhere on the box or in the manual does it say it comes with an AC adapter, although you can use it if you want. So far I'm sticking with three AAs. After all, darts are no harder to find than a traditional cork dartboard. You just have to twist them slightly to the right and pull them out. The board scores accurately (with an easy way to adjust rebounds) and features more games than you've ever played. do electronic darts. You throw an arrow. The arrow sticks to the board. The board accurately records the score. It is well made and easy to assemble. I have no idea what else to expect from an electronic dartboard. There are boards that cost two to three times more than this board. I can't comment based on a personal comparison, but I'm scratching my head at what they offer on this board. I really enjoy it - really addicted to it. It's time to get back to the board for a quick game of cricket.
