Review on 🔧 Enhance Transmission Performance: Derale 14010 Deep Pan Filter Extender in Sleek Black Design by Dale Toth

This is totally useless. It must first be modified to properly fit the valve body. The third hole is to use a long screw hole in the valve body. Unfortunately none of the supplied screws fit. They are either too long or too short. So I drilled a hole for the extension to sit flush with the head of the hanger bolt. It worked fine. Then I tried to unscrew the Derale 14210 transmission deep oil pan, the extension is too thick and the filter hits the cooling tubes in the oil pan. I read reviews about it but some reviewers said it worked for them so I decided to give it a try. I have a 2003 Ram 1500 4WD with a 46RE transmission. If the extension cord was three times smaller than it actually is, everything would fit. I would not recommend this extension as the pan will not fit. waste of money for me. I was thinking of cutting it off at the machine shop but I don't want to drain the transmission again.
