We bought this for our 2 year old to get to the sink to wash his hands and brush his teeth. It also works great in the kitchen and helps with baking. Our bathroom counters are as high as the ones in the kitchen, so we needed a higher stool. These two steps work great. Since this is a higher tier, it's too high for a pot and we don't use it for that. It's light enough for our little one to move on her own, yet very strong and can carry up to 200 pounds. It's hard for me to use it because I have long legs. This required some assembly, but it was easy and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. It was well packaged and arrived in good condition. We could order another one upstairs.
