When I first received my Quest I was disappointed with the sound which was not more enveloping. When I covered my ears with my palms, the sound got a lot louder and more exciting, so I figured they were perfect. Unfortunately, I generally dislike them and rarely use them. The sound is mediocre and I find the Quest 2's built-in speakers more enjoyable overall. Maybe I'm just used to the balance between in-game audio and ambient sounds. It doesn't fit me very well, even with the extra sleeve sizes. All three sizes slip out of my ear easily. The sound quality is so-so and the cables aren't as clean as I expected as they have to be a custom length for the Quest 2. your headset. Where it shines is when you use it in bed and don't want to disturb your partner. The external sound drops to ZERO. This is great if you want to play without disturbing others.
