Review on BFGoodrich g-Grip 195/65 R15 91H summer by Agata Bachanek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

The road keeps super, that on dry, that on wet pavement. A clear steering wheel, goes strictly in a straight line, does not chat anywhere, as they say zero on the steering wheel, not like Nokian, which always floats with soft sidewalls (I won’t even compare Kumho, Cordiant and Amtel), a good reaction to turning the steering wheel. Optimal stiffness, not too hard and not too soft. I also noticed a slight decrease in fuel consumption. There is no tendency to hydroplaning. In the city in the rain through puddles, where on the same Nokian and Kumho the steering wheel pulled and began to emerge, you pass on Goodrich BF without any reaction on the steering wheel and a hint of ascent. It starts off without slipping both on dry and wet pavement (well, of course, if you press the gas to failure, then not a single rubber can do it), braking (speed reduction) is very good, without a breakdown to lock the wheels, I mean not an emergency , and in normal mode and quick stop mode. So far, pah-pah-pah, do not jinx it, you didn’t have to urgently slow down on this rubber. It’s average in the mud, yet the pattern is directional, not for mud, so it’s better not to climb into deep mud, well, it’s not a jeep after all to climb through the mud. Well balanced. I can’t say anything about the wear resistance and strength of the sidewalls yet, I’ve only been driving for a month and a half, we’ll see at the end of the season, then I’ll unsubscribe. In terms of noise, as I already wrote, the first 500 km. It hummed at speed, but after rolling the hum disappeared. Compared to Gislaved, tires are slightly noisier, but quieter than Cordiant and Amtel. Well, everything can not be perfect, the noise is not critical. After driving on rubble, it collects small pebbles, but right there, when leaving for clean asphalt, they self-remove without interference and there is no clatter. Producer Poland, I also consider it a plus, specially chose rubber not of 2022 production. The price could be a little lower than now (I took it for 2410), classmates are cheaper, but not much and their production in the 2022. So in general, for this price a good option and good quality. I did not regret the purchase.

Pros
  • On March 5, 2022, I installed this tire, size 185/60 r14, on a Daewoo Nexia car. Immediate impressions are only positive. I used to go on various tires, such as Nokian, Gislaved, Kumho, Kordiant, Amtel. But I liked this one the most. More details in the comments.
Cons
  • Well, if only the first 500 km. buzzed, but after running it became quieter.
