I have your typical 1980s garage with two light sockets in the ceiling. I've had two lights in there for ages and it was okay. Well, then I installed two sets of these. "Wow" is the first thing to say. They're easy to install; you screw them in like any other light bulb. Insert your favorite lightbulb joke here, but it doesn't get any easier than that.Then there is the brightness. "Wow" again. Every nook and cranny of my garage is lit up. Things I didn't even want to see are now bathed in brightness. I'm not sure what is the best comparison. A Broadway stage? Yankee stadium? A crime scene? It's glorious to say the least.A couple words of warning. Remember that solar eclipse a few years ago when we were all warned not to look directly at the sun? Well the same thing goes for these bad boys. I love how the panels are adjustable so you can get the light pointing right where you want it. Well, I adjusted them while the lights were on. DON'T STARE AT THE SUN or these lights for too long. I was seeing light spots an hour later when I went to bed. Don't worry, my eyes were fine the next morning. And now I can see my dirty garage in beautiful, brilliant light.
