I will say that I gave these 4 stars because I had a problem with my first screen but not the second. My first screen arrived very quickly and was well packaged. I watched a YouTube video on how to replace it and dived into it. I took the old board off in minutes, but quickly found that I had to snap and "hang" the daughter board on the bottom to remove it. small digitizer wire. It's okay if you rough up the old screen, so experiment with that to best open the flip panel, as you'll have to do it again on the new one, and if you break it, you're in trouble, so be careful. At least it didn't turn on when I plugged it in. You'll need to check all connections and try powering it on before plugging it back into the back. I tried 3 times and it wouldn't turn on so I put the old broken one back in and it turned on right away. So I went to their website to chat and after a few minutes they offered to send me a new and prepaid shipping label for the old one. Two days later I got a new one, plugged it in, turned it on and it started right up so the first one must have had a demon in it. I then removed the protective tape from the sticky sidebar mounts and snapped it back on. I have to say it doesn't fit as well as the original. It seemed a lot bigger but I snapped everything in and it works great and doesn't fall out so everything is fine. I would give 4.5 stars if I could think. It was better than throwing away a six month old computer and my son has now learned what it means to be "gentle" with his laptop. They are designed to be discreet and not crash into your backpack. Buy with confidence.
