They are good right out of the box, the best I can say about this watch. I only wear it when I'm awake, never in the shower, but there's always moisture and/or condensation under the lenses. I've only been using it for a few weeks and the "gold tone" is disappearing from my face. I would look for an alternative if you are considering this watch.
