I have very fine, very messy blonde hair that I professionally dye black. My hair is notorious for not holding up to permanent coloring. I've been coloring my hair since 2009 using the same Paul Mitchell The Color products and low percentage developer, but last year my hair was pretty dry. The application definitely makes my hair noticeably softer and less dry. I've tried many quick color/color protectant/moisturizing products, both expensive and inexpensive, and this is one of the best. I will compare it to the Silk 18 conditioner shortly and report my results. Silk 18 is great for fine hair and leaving it on for just 1-2 minutes leaves hair soft and silky. This Pantene conditioner moisturizes and detangles hair a little better, but makes your hair a little heavier than Silk 18. It doesn't make my hair flat and greasy, it's just not super weightless. I think this will be my daily conditioner and I will be using Silk 18 once a week.
