Review on ⚡ SunMilY 150W Portable Power Supply Inverter: Milwaukee M18 18V Battery Compatible | DC 18V to AC 110V~120V | Modified Sine Wave | AC Outlet & Dual USB | Battery Not Included by Marcus Munoz

Good backup power for the fan in summer.

. Firstly, this is a modified sine wave inverter, so it is excellent for devices that are not sensitive to such a stepped sine wave. At 150 watts there isn't much to run, but most of the time things with LEDs can run poorly and have issues with buzzing or turning on/off. But for motors like a fan they don't seem to have any problems and I liked this option as a summer backup battery to power small fans. It can power anything with a power bank, e.g. a laptop, and has 3 USB options for charging phones. But for the AC output, I like that I can get about 6 hours of continuous low running on my fan with my Dewalt and 3rd party Milwaukee batteries. It also doesn't require 2 batteries to operate, it only runs on 1 battery. When I first ordered it was $99 but at the time of review it was $68. I still think it's overkill considering you have to provide batteries and it's a modified sine wave inverter which limits what you can safely and properly use without suffering damage. But it's nice to have an emergency fan option in case the power goes out during the heat.

Pros
  • This modified DC to AC sine wave power converter allows you to take full advantage of 18V Milwaukee batteries when idling. Just make a portable power station with 18V batteries for camping, hiking, traveling and so on. Great outdoor power gadget, super light.
Cons
  • May damage
