Yes I had an old scanner that didn't give clearly explained error codes and sometimes nothing at all so I needed a new one and I saw this new launch which wasn't too expensive. Why I bought it is the ability to upgrade WIFI and the knowledge that Launch has of different manufacturers via the bluetooth plug with an app on the phone. (For example I have an OBDLink MX that doesn't see any errors). Also, I bought a 4-year warranty for the machine that is about to expire, so I want to resolve any issues in advance. My experience: The package was there in 3 days. and it was easy to set up, pick a Wi-Fi network and password, and update the device. (I think you can use your phone as a hotspot, my car was parked next to my house.) Launch CRP123X automatically detected the VIN and asked if a quick check is needed. Yes, and the dishes reported errors ... Just like in the garage, everyone should have it. You can also create a chart and log from various selected variables over a period of time. So you can take the car for a ride and check it later. The screen is nice and crisp, the build quality is decent and the buttons are big so falling isn't an issue. Only the bag is not very chic, if you put a scanner + cable in it, I think. I'm happy with the scanner...should last a few years.
